Description:(20 in omega ruby and alpha sapphire, male, August 8) He has spiky black hair and red eyes, whose quite kind and understanding when it comes to others but a bit dense (was the last character to figure out Yellow was a girl that had been taught by Red prior). His pokemon; Saur(venasuar), Pika(pikachu), Poli(poliwrath), Gyara(gyarados), Aero(aerodctyl), Lax(Snorlax), Vee(Espeon), nidorino, diglett, sandrew, butterfree, fearow, bellsprout, nidoking(multiple), nidoqueen, victreebell, parasect, exeggcute, weepinbell.
History: Ok, so he just shows up first showing a kid how to catch a pokemon and through mishaps gets a pokedex after breaking Professor Oak's stuff. He almost catches a new day one, burns down a lab, gets electrocuted to near death and has to fight a zombie. He then nearly dies fighting a rigged fight against Giovanni, then later wins the league by causing a lightning storm in the stadium with his Venasaur. Canonically this fight is what gets many of the other main characters to go out on their own journeys.
In the Yellow arc right after he almost gets jumped and assassinated for being to much a of a threat, making him missing for most of the arc. By the next he's still suffering the effects of getting frozen alive but still joins the final fight.
In Fire Red and Leaf Green arc, he gets his jumped again, this time by an over power deoxy. He gets crushed so hard a becomes depressed, he later finds out the reason deoxy was so gokd at battling was because he had Red's FUXKING DNA MIXED INTO IT. They couldn’t beat him so they had him beat himself. He still won in the rematch though with mewtwo. Got turned to stone afterwards by Darkai because of course Red gets frozen during the transition arc cause he cooked too hard.
In Emerald they save him and they join the final battle, once more they appear in Omega ruby and Alpha Sapphire, barely though, just enough to fight Kyogre a little bit as they pass by. Can't steal the spot light too much.
Canon Relationships: as far as I known dude just spawned in without parents, no relatives, nothing!
Why I love them: he's on crack, read the history summary. He's the OG and the one that started it all and even through all that he still gives energy he'd have monthly camping trips with his pokemon.
Headcanons: hobo aka he didn't have a house until he won the league, hippie, makes baby talk to new small pokemon, would rather sleep with his pokemon, probably only got a house cause he needed a mailing address and a place to put his stuff
